Sermon Title and Scripture for Sunday August 2nd, 2015:
The Call: Manifesting God's Glory
1 Now a certain man was ill, Lazarus of Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha. 2 Mary was the one who anointed the Lord with perfume and wiped his feet with her hair; her brother Lazarus was ill. 3 So the sisters sent a message to Jesus,* ‘Lord, he whom you love is ill.’ 4 But when Jesus heard it, he said, ‘This illness does not lead to death; rather it is for God’s glory, so that the Son of God may be glorified through it.’ 5 Accordingly, though Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus, 6 after having heard that Lazarus* was ill, he stayed two days longer in the place where he was.
7 Then after this he said to the disciples, ‘Let us go to Judea again.’
Daily Bible Verse for July 29th:
Praise the Lord, all you servants of the Lord who minister by night in the house of the Lord. Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and praise the Lord.

We are a community of faith who enjoys celebrating God’s love! We know that in Christ we find unconditional love, value and acceptance. And so we have embarked on a journey toward a “walls down, arms open” experience of welcome and embrace.
It is our endeavor to offer a space for discovery and exploration of the gifts God has given to us all; and to learn how to share those gifts with the world. You are invited to share in this journey.
Worship at Rocky Hill is a community experience; services are creative and interactive, traditional yet fresh. In worship we practice listening to the Spirit through scripture, prayer, and song.
